Nov. 3rd, 2022 12:57 pmBAM, Christmas carols everywhere! (I took my sister shopping on Tuesday as a very belated birthday celebration and Kohl's was already playing holiday music. I still think November 1st is too soon.)
October round-up: I wrote thirty-five thousand words, what the. I kept waiting for the burnout to hit but it waited until after I'd edited and posted my discord exchange fic, which accounts for about 1/3 of this month's words. I am not looking at my WIPs folder for a few days now to recover. This weekend I am coordinating a GenKill watch party so maybe I will be on Top Gun hiatus until after that.
Since last time:
- a secret is something you tell one other person, 100% NC-17 omegaverse virgin!Rooster/Maverick (aka, I can't believe I wrote this)
- left to poets, and not encyclopedias, NSFW soulbond (because I need to write a soulbond in every fandom), Mav/Rooster
- this vessel is a lie, SFW Maverick/alien symbiote Darkstar, because if I can't make the airplane sentient then why am I here?
- won't you stay by my side, and finally my story for the discord exchange! NSFW, Mav and Rooster go on a winter getaway and play sex Battleship - this was very fun to write and I'm glad I participated
I did not sign up for Yuletide after all - I'm going to attempt some treats, I think, when my writing mojo returns.
