I was wrong, only season four of Teen Wolf was back to twelve episodes, and now season five has TWENTY episodes and also a storyline I don't give a crap about. Go back to just werewolves and their werewolf drama, show! Not this whackadoo chimera monster medical experiment junk that apparently ends with NAZIS. Not to mention the lighting is just... grimy. (I hate this particular sickly greenish tinge on anything, it's not just TW's fault.)

Also: I would assume S5 is where the show lost viewers in general, since Tyler Hoechlin has departed. But I have now watched too much to quit so I might as well power through!!

I read the first volume of Transformers: More than Meets the Eye yesterday, since I've finally collected all ten volumes and can read them all in a row. It took quite a while since I had to eBay most of them, and while I could have spent much less money getting them digitally, I'd rather read comics in physical form than on an e-reader. I should probably put the two extra volumes I ended up with (since I had to buy a batch in one instance) back up on eBay and recoup a few bucks.

Anyway, I have spent so long with this window open that I've only got four episodes left of this terrible season! Additional note - watching this show as an adult is really just a lot of me yelling "where are their parents?". I sure don't remember anyone at my high school having so much access to alcohol on the regular.

I did end up watching the Zoom video of Matt interviewing Ben while at work, but thankfully no one bothered me for anything while I was emotional over it. It was lovely. It's kind of wild to think back and remember when the only way I could get news or read interviews with them was in actual print magazines, or if they happened to be on a talk show. (This is also when popslash ran a network of ftp servers from college dorm rooms to share video clips.) And now there are entertainment websites posting twenty minutes of them video-chatting from their computers.

I am up to Teen Wolf season four, and it's losing me quickly with this "going to Mexico" storyline. This is still way further than I ever made it when I watched it originally! I suppose I might as well finish the whole thing since seasons 4-6 are back to twelve episodes/season.
