Sep. 16th, 2018 09:14 amI spent the last month or so writing this Harry/Louis futurefic road trip story - nearly doubling my word count for the year so far in the process - and posted it at midnight last night. Woke up this morning to an anon tumblr message informing me no one reads this sort of fic because "louis public life is a sham". LOL, anon: a) I write what I want, and b) take your conspiracy theories about Louis somewhere else.
Anyway, I really enjoyed writing it, and now that it's off my plate I can think about Yuletide! Two of the things I might have nominated are already nominated (hooray!), so I don't need to wrangle my maybes list QUITE as much (she says). I am sort of waffling on using a spot for my usual The Way Way Back request, since no one ever offers it, so it feels sort of like a waste. I might just have to put it on my "write it yourself" list.
I watched a little over half of the new season of Iron Fist yesterday - all the stuff I liked about S1 is somehow even more in S2 so far, I can't believe. (I was a little worried about how all the Joy stuff was going to play out.) As long as they don't outright kill off my favorite character I think I'll be happy buuuuut it's Marvel y'know so we'll see what happens the rest of the season.
In an effort to not just binge all of IF in one day, I'm also re-watching what Netflix has of Shetland - also on my possibilities list - and I should probably track down S4.
ETA: Also the Inception GSF! Which has honestly gotten more hits than I expected.
