Hello! This is my second time signing up for Chocolate Box; I enjoyed participating last year (and am a veteran of many exchanges, please feel free to grab ideas from other letters - see my sticky post for links or the exchange tag). I have no real specific prompts that I'm dying to get, so here are some mostly vague thoughts/suggestions about what I enjoy and what I don't.

Overall DNWs: violence against women, pain/injury beyond what is shown or implied in canon, bathroom kinks, A/B/O, and high school/college AUs.

Things I love in general: found family, threesomes/moresomes, food as a metaphor for love, caretaking (bathing, hairbrushing, sickfic, etc), relationship negotiation, accidental marriage and marriage of convenience, soulbonds of all sorts, space or other science AUs, people being sweet/gentle with one another.

I have tried to keep my prompts relatively small, in keeping with the smaller word count minimum for this exchange. I hope I succeeded!

Venom (movie, 2018):

As long as Eddie continues to be a mess (in an "ugh, adulthood, didn't I just wash these dishes?" way, please, not in a "depressed & needs a psychiatrist that he's not getting" way) , anything is good for this movie.

Three humans and an alien navigating a relationship? Into it.

Medical kink? Into it. Venom is a sentient slime mold? Into it.

Venom tries to cook Eddie dinner, take care of Eddie when he's sick, or wash Eddie's hair in the shower? All good.

I'd also be into something with a sub!Venom (a kink Venom doesn't know they have b/c they've never tried it before!) if you'd like to write it.

The Way Back (movie, 2020)

For Jack & team: Maybe a scene where the team or some of the team go to visit Jack at his rehab facility to offer their support or just to shoot the shit about basketball - they could discuss their favorite NBA players or watch whatever game might be on together. Or whichever players visit have gotten some college acceptance letters and/or scholarships, and they share their news. Maybe Jack's out of rehab and not coaching the following season but still goes to the games to support the boys, and they all go out for pizza afterwards. Maybe the boys who went to college call him up all the time to touch base and he gets to feel sort of like a surrogate dad or big brother. Mostly I'm looking for something where the characters are warm and supportive of one another, and not defined by their hardships.

For any/any: I'd love a scene where two of the players have gone to the same college (maybe college ball wasn't in their future, and they go someplace local and only play pickup games or intramurals) and their friendship turns into a relationship. A fumbling date where they're breathless and awkward, or they're studying together and fall asleep in the same bed, or they're already together and celebrating something - an anniversary, an A on a big paper/test, a birthday.

Sherlock Holmes & A Game of Shadows (Downey movies, 2009 & 2011)

I love these movies so much!! I would love a scene focusing on some sort of clothing kink - someone dressing or undressing someone else. Sherlock is no stranger to wearing a dress, if you'd like to go that route. I love both Holmes/Watson and Holmes/Watson/Mary, however you'd like to configure that.

Other possibilities - someone is hurt (not majorly) and one or both of the other characters have to patch them up, someone is sick and one or both of the other characters take care of them, Mary's having a baby and John and Sherlock are attentive to the point of driving her insane, characters play some sort of game with kisses or clothing removal for wins.

Triple Frontier (movie, 2019)

(Clearly I am the Ben Affleck person in this exchange, haha.)

Redfly/Ben Miller: I can't believe Netflix made me watch a movie where Ben's character dies with my own two eyes, but then Benny cried over Redfly's body and I thought "Oh, I 'ship this now, whoops," and watched the crying part about six more times. And there's hardly any backstory for anyone in this, so for all we know they could have been hooking up for months in secret!

Redfly/Pope: What shenanigans did Redfly and Pope get up to in the Army? While on libo? What other plans did they hatch while huddled in a Ranger grave on some rocky hillside or in some steaming jungle? How many times did they patch each other up when injured, or visit each other in shitty field hospitals? Whether they bone or not is up to you.

(All Redfly/Pope suggestions would also be great for Redfly/Ben!)

The X-Files

Oh, this takes me back, back, back. Mulder/Krycek was how I got into slash in the first place ("You mean… other people also want to read stories where they get it on?") all those years ago. I'm very interested to see what a more modern interpretation of the pairing looks like - missing scene, a rewrite/remix of a scene in the show to go a different direction, Krycek makes a different choice in one of his shady triple-cross twists…

Mulder & Scully: Anything you'd like to do for S1-S7 - missing scene from your favorite episode, sitting in a car on a stakeout, platonic caretaking. Please feel free to ignore all of the reboot seasons; Gillian's wig just made me crabby.
