General likes: food as a metaphor for love, hurt/comfort, people being sweet to each other, people taking care of each other, daddykink if you want to go there (even just a little), people being good at their jobs, people buying other people presents (like fancy clothes, that they then help the other person get dressed in), space AUs (sentient spaceships yes please), AUs where people are scientists (marine biologists, Arctic researchers, that sort of thing) or archaeologists.

Gen, het, slash, I am pretty much open to anything, and any rating, so don't feel like you need to write something NC-17 or a genre that's that's not what you are comfortable writing. The only AUs I'm not into reading are the high school AU and A/B/O universes. Honestly, the only things I really do not want to read in fic are kinks involving bathroom functions, super-angsty infidelity issues, extreme violence (canon-typical violence is fine), "on-screen" misogynistic violence against women, and I'd prefer no character death unless it's already in canon.

I am always down for: "oh no is this an accidental soulbond? damn it!", "uhhh, did we get married last night?", "ps, I'm a werewolf/have wings/can shapeshift into a shark" - and what the characters do about it. I'm also a fan of unconventional endings, so that accidental soulbond doesn't have to end happily, or if characters get purposefully divorced after their accidental marriage, that's cool with me.

I like 3x and 5x stories that fit together to make a whole, choose your own adventure, alternating POVs especially if the characters have slightly different ideas about what's happening and that leads to some form of conflict, time loops, and/or complete universe resets.

If you want to write 5k of "uhh what do you mean we're having a baby?" mpreg, I would read it.

Good Will Hunting

If we matched on just Chuckie alone, I'd like something where he's figuring out his own life without Will in it, post-movie. Please feel to include Billy and/or Morgan as part of this - Will visiting is also good. Basically any other characters you'd like to add in! Alternately, something a number of years down the road where Chuckie's got all his shit together (or thinks he does) and something happens to mess it up - injury, divorce, Will showing up again after a couple years of barely speaking - etc. (This works for Will/Chuckie, too.)

Maybe Chuckie really thought he'd never see Will again after he left for California, but eventually they get cell phones. Maybe Will rolls back into town with a couple of kids, or Chuckie has a couple of kids.

If you're interested, I would be into a Will POV story that has math stuff, or a Chuckie POV story that has carpentry stuff.

Having Skylar break up with Will so she can date a musician will always make me laugh, since that's what actually happened with Matt Damon and his Skylar (she left him for Lars Ulrich of Metallica, which feels so bizarre to type out in 2022).

Tropes: soulbond or soulmarks (romantic/sexual or platonic), a sugar daddy sort of thing with Will buying Chuckie stuff and Chuckie struggling with it a little, marriage of convenience/accidental marriage (romantic/sexual in the end, or platonic life partners)

AU possibility: Will's the scientist at whatever research outpost/fancy lab, Chuckie's the handyman/guy who knows how to baby the equipment into working correctly.

Peacemaker

Oh man, I didn't see this one coming. The 2021 Suicide Squad was fun and I liked that it really didn't take itself seriously, but a show about Peacemaker? That idiot? Then I heard he was now canon bisexual and a SAD MESS and had mad chemistry with Vigilante - yeah, this ended in me watching the show three times in a week. I love everyone!! Even Murn!! Do you have a story you'd like to tell about various team members getting into wild situations as they (attempt to) save the world yet again? Please tell it to me!

Do you want to write Chris trying to decide if he wants to ask Adrian to marry him (complete with conversations with Adebayo about it, conversations with Goff about it, and asking Eagly what he thinks, b/c Chris is definitely a man who would ask his pet eagle if he should gay marry his sociopathic partner in crime) and when he finally broaches the subject Adrian's just like "fuck yeah, dude" and then they have weird sex? I would read this.

Die Hard movies (really just Live Free or Die Hard)

I was re-reading some of my favorite Matt/John fics lately, and ended up re-watching the movie a few times, and I still love their Grumpy Grizzled Action Hero Man and Energy-Drink Addicted Nerdy Soft Hacker Boy Who Just Wants a Snack dynamic.

I would be happy with any sort of injury recovery thing set after the movie - it's been written before but who cares, I love the "John moves Matt into his place until he's better but oh! He never leaves!" trope. Or maybe they don't see each other for a few months and then both have to testify at a hearing about the fire sale, and one gets done testifying to find the other has waited for them, and they go out for burgers and cheap beer.

Defenders (Marvel - TV), specifically:

Iron Fist: Joy and Ward, Danny/Ward, or some combination. I know I ask for this all the time but I LOVE WARD. And I loved S2 of this stupid show, and I'm sad it's cancelled. Ward and Joy being weird about each other is my jam, and is what made me love the first season despite Danny being Danny, and then they didn't stop being weird in the second season!! And Ward deciding to leave with Danny at the end so that he could be unwashed and drunk while Danny punches people: YES THANK YOU. I would read any sort of weird Meachum siblings being great at business but terrible at emotions story, or Danny and Ward drunkenly hooking up story, or Ward getting some sort of magic but hating it story.

The Punisher : Frank/David/Sarah or the platonic found-family equivalent. I know David and Sarah weren't back for the second season so feel free leave the entirety of S2 out of it if you're so inclined. OTOH, I still haven't watched it yet but I've read a bunch of the spoilers so there's no need to avoid it entirely on my account! I love Frank and David and Sarah went from 0 to 10 on the "caring about you enough to go through hell for you" scale in like fifteen seconds. What happens when Frank shows up at their (probably new, probably witness protection?) place and David and Sarah let him in and he never leaves? (Bonus points if he cries on them while they're all in bed together, or he could just cry on the sofa, while any one of the Liebermans tries awkwardly to make him feel like he has a place in their lives.)

Also - Frank/Maria/Billy, before all the bad stuff happens and before Billy's gone full-out villain. They can be his family! So many bad things could maybe be avoided! (Or fate could have the bad things happen anyway, but maybe Billy gets five minutes of happiness before that.)

Daredevil: If you have a Matt/Foggy idea you've been dying to write, please write it for me! I'm sorry I don't really have prompts for this one but I like the "figuring things out at college" stories, or late nights working in the office leads to late nights doing ~other things~, or they take a case for someone fired due to some sort of discrimination and it makes them figure their shit out.

The Killing

This is one of those shows that grew on me, slowly. I found it maddeningly slow-paced when I watched the first season the first time, but ended up enjoying how it was slow and quiet when I went back for a re-watch. I love the idea that Sarah and Stephen are soulmates - even if it takes them years to figure it out. I would be into any sort of trope fic for this fandom/paring - maybe one of those name on skin soulbond ones where one or both hide whatever the soulmark is and refuse to believe in it for the longest time? I could also see some sort of Groundhog Day plot working well for this setting, or maybe wingfic?

Teen Wolf

Me, watching the entirety of this show over last summer: "What do you mean Scott/Stiles isn't the OTP?" (Not that Hoechlin isn't attractive.)

I enjoy things where there's more magic than they ever used on the show, soulmate/soulbond tropes, hurt/comfort caretaking scenarios, characters finally figuring out they love each other in a romantic way when one is willing to sacrifice themselves for the other.

I feel like there's some goofy sex magic potential in Peter/Lydia, especially in an enemies-to-lovers situation, or an "I have this problem and you're the only one who can research it/figure it out for me" situation set years in the future.

For TW, I would like something set mostly within the universe of the show - I don't mind something set several years after the end of the show, however you might want to imagine how the characters have ended up, as long as the events of their high school years still happened. (De-aging them back to teenagers, or doing some sort of time travel shenanigans - that would be great! Mostly it's that I'm not looking to read a "completely different genre" kind of AU.)

Crossovers

Okay so usually I don't go in for wacky crossovers but I thought maybe this time there was plenty of room to go wild. Please feel free to use other characters from the movies to round out whatever it is you decide to do, if it needs them!

Jason Bourne (Bourne movies)/Christian Wolff (The Accountant) - Maybe a Mr. & Mrs. Smith type plot? Or they meet in some sort of support group? (Feel free to ignore the most recent Bourne movie if you also hated it - I saw it in a preview screening where there was a man taking opinions afterward. I very coldly informed him that I was tired of movies where women died to motivate men and then I screamed in my car for a while.)

Brad Colbert (Generation Kill)/Tom 'Redfly' Davis (Triple Frontier) - Another one where they could meet in some sort of post-service military support group? And the events of Triple Frontier have not happened, ha. Redfly's gotten divorced, so they start meeting up outside of the support group as friends for beers, and and Redfly starts helping Brad fix up the old cabin he bought in the middle of nowhere (or is building in the middle of nowhere).

I would also enjoy a re-work of TF that includes Brad as part of the team and doesn't include any character death (unless you want to do some sort of time-loop shenanigans in there).

Brad Colbert (Generation Kill)/James 'Bucky' Barnes (MCU) - a sad Bucky somehow arrives at the door of Brad's cabin in the middle of nowhere! (Apocalypse AU version is welcome here.)

Will Hunting (Good Will Hunting)/Doug MacRay (The Town) - So Doug's background is that he was good enough at hockey to get drafted by the Wild, but he fucked it up somewhere along the way and never got to the NHL. How about an AU where he did, and ends up traded to a team where he could meet Will at an event or a bar, etc? Or he remains an AHL journeyman, and Will's the Moneyball-style stats guy? Alternately, there's no hockey and they're both Boston kids and Doug still robs banks, but it's Will instead of Claire.
