lakeeffectgirlShit, it's December? My work BFF and I were just talking the other day about how we have no idea where 2023 even went. Time has no meaning since the pandemic started, really.
I staycationed last week - traveling is a struggle for me since I don't sleep well in places that aren't my own home and if I don't sleep well I'm at a much higher chance for falling, so I've mostly given up on going places where I'll need to stay over - and it was nice to take a week to watch a bunch of television and movies, and write when I felt like writing, and snuggle with the kitties. I watched all of Shrinking and Deadloch, and a couple episodes of Dickinson, and a couple movies that are Yuletide fandoms.
Speaking of, I have finished and turned in my Yuletide assignment, and as usual have started half a dozen treats - I won't finish all of them, but there are still three more days left to write. I do also need to finish up my holiday exchange fic for the Roosmav server, and that will wrap up 2023. I have posted more words this year so far than any other year before, and truly, how? - although I suppose a big chunk of it was Cruise/McQuarries fic that I then suddenly no longer wanted to think about the second SAG went on strike and they just disappeared out of the public eye.
I think January will be for planning out what else I need for the giant Stucky project I did for NaNoWriMo (and won!), but didn't actually get to the end of. It needs a lot of work but also I have put so much work into it already that I don't want to just let it sit in my GDocs forever unfinished.
