I have gotten extremely into The Pitt over the last... three months? Wait, I can look back in emails with rsadelle and see that we started watching it in the beginning of April, and by the end of April I was starting to think fan-fiction-y thoughts about it. But it still took me until only a couple weeks ago to realize that Robby is my blorbo because Robby is exactly the sort of character that always ends up being my blorbo (and things that don't have this style of character usually don't end up being things I write fic for!). I don't have to give him a sadness because he ALREADY HAS SEVERAL IN CANON. Aaaaaah.

And if I want to think about a different Sadness Character that day, there are honestly plenty of them to choose from on this show.

Anyway, I have mostly been writing things over in my corner and dropping them on AO3 with little fanfare, and reblogging a bunch of Robby's face on tumblr, but I did have a delightful experience the other day when a bunch of GenKill fandom people all realized at the same time that we were now in this fandom (which - I am gesturing towards Jack Abbot here, of course we are) and there was a flurry of tumblr-friending. I have not been reading much, which means I go into the AO3 tag and squint at things in very "this is what Pitt fandom is doing?" ways - no judgement, because while it's not my jam, I can see how Mel/Langdon would be very appealing to a certain part of fandom at large - but then there's more Robby/Whitaker than Robby/Samira? *Lake blinks, gathers all her Robby/Samira WIPs into a hug.*
